Dr. Ravinder Manchal is a distinguished academician, researcher, and administrator serving as Professor in the Department of Chemistry at Chaitanya (Deemed to be University), Hyderabad. With more than two decades of experience in teaching, research, academic administration, and institutional development, he has made significant contributions to higher education and chemical sciences. He is widely recognized for his dedication to student mentoring, research supervision, curriculum development, and academic leadership.

He completed his M.Sc. in Chemistry with specialization in Inorganic Chemistry in the year 2000 from Osmania University and was awarded Ph.D. in Chemistry in 2007 from Kakatiya University under the guidance of Prof. S. Sri Hari, an eminent academician and educationalist.

With more than 20 years of teaching and research experience, he has taught undergraduate, postgraduate, and research-level courses in Inorganic Chemistry, Coordination Chemistry, Analytical Chemistry, Research Methodology, and Advanced Chemical Sciences. He is known for adopting innovative teaching methodologies and student-centered learning approaches.

Under his research guidance, eight scholars have been awarded the Ph.D. degree. He continues to mentor research scholars in various emerging areas of Chemistry, encouraging interdisciplinary and application-oriented research. He has published more than 50 research papers in reputed national and international journals, including Scopus-indexed publications, in areas spanning Inorganic Chemistry, Materials Chemistry, Coordination Compounds, and Applied Chemical Research.

Dr. Ravinder has actively participated in seminars, webinars, workshops, and conferences at regional, national, and international levels, presenting research through oral and poster presentations. He has successfully completed more than 10 Faculty Development Programmes in modern teaching practices, research methodology, outcome-based education, curriculum design, and academic leadership.

He served as Head of the Department of Chemistry and Chairman, Board of Studies in Chemistry at Chaitanya (Deemed to be University) for more than six years, contributing extensively to curriculum development, designing academic regulations, introducing new courses, and enhancing quality standards in Chemistry education.

Dr. Ravinder Manchal has been serving as the first Registrar of Chaitanya (Deemed to be University) since March 2020. As Registrar, he has been instrumental in establishing and streamlining administrative systems, strengthening academic governance, coordinating institutional policies and procedures, and supporting accreditation, quality assurance, and university development initiatives. His leadership has significantly contributed to the growth and progress of the University.
