• Academic information: qualifications, previous institutions, marks, programs of interest.
• Identification: Aadhaar or passport number where required for an admissions application.
• Documents: certificates, ID proof, and photographs you upload to support an application.
• Technical information: IP address, browser type, and pages viewed (collected via standard server logs and analytics).

• To process admissions enquiries and applications.
• To respond to questions you send through our contact forms.
• To send you relevant information about programs, events, and updates from the University.
• To prevent fraud, abuse, and unauthorised access (e.g. CAPTCHA, rate limits, audit logs).
• To comply with legal, regulatory, and accreditation requirements (UGC, AICTE, etc.).

How we may contact you:by submitting a form, you consent to us reaching out using any of the contact details you provide — including email, phone call, SMS, and WhatsApp. We use these channels strictly to follow up on your enquiry or application.

The Site uses two cookie categories:

• Strictly necessary: anti-CSRF tokens and unlock cookies for password-protected forms. These are always active and cannot be disabled because the site does not function without them.
• Analytics (optional): first-party usage measurement to understand which pages are visited and how users navigate the site. These cookies only load after you accept them via the cookie banner.

You can change your cookie preferences at any time using the “Cookie Settings” link in the footer. We do not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies, and we do not sell or rent your personal information to third parties for advertising purposes.

We share your information only with:

• University departments responsible for admissions, academics, and administration.
• Service providers we use to operate this site (such as hosting, email delivery, CAPTCHA, and file storage). These providers process data on our behalf under written agreements.
• Government, regulatory, or law-enforcement authorities where required by law.

We retain personal data only as long as necessary for the purpose for which it was collected. Form submissions are tagged with a retention period at the time of submission and are automatically deleted after that period expires. Admission applications are typically retained for 18 months after the application cycle; offer-holder records may be retained longer in line with UGC/AICTE record-keeping requirements.

Subject to applicable law, you have the right to:

• Access the personal data we hold about you.
• Request correction of inaccurate or incomplete information.
• Request deletion of your data (where we are not required by law to retain it).
• Withdraw consent for processing where consent was the basis.
• Lodge a grievance with our Grievance Officer (see Section 11).

All form submissions are transmitted over HTTPS. Sensitive data is stored encrypted and access is restricted to authorised University personnel. We use rate-limiting, CAPTCHA, and anti-CSRF protections to defend against automated abuse. While no system is perfectly secure, we follow industry-standard practices to protect your information.

Under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, anyone below the age of 18 is treated as a child. Our admissions forms are intended for prospective students who are 18 or older; where an applicant is a minor, a parent or legal guardian must complete and submit the form on their behalf and provide verifiable consent for the University to process the minor’s personal information for admissions purposes.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision. Material changes will be highlighted on our home page or notified to recent applicants.
