NCC Fosters Patriotism and Leadership Qualities Among Students: Former Minister Enugala Peddi Reddy
Moinabad, June 3, 2026: The Annual Training Camp of NCC 7(T) Girls Battalion concluded successfully at Chaitanya (Deemed-to-be) University, Himayatnagar, after ten days of intensive training from May 25 to June 3. Hundreds of girl students from schools and junior colleges across Telangana participated in the camp, which focused on discipline, leadership, physical fitness, national integration, disaster management, first aid, environmental conservation, and community service. Addressing the valedictory function as Chief Guest, former Andhra Pradesh Minister Enugala Peddi Reddy stated that the NCC plays a vital role in developing patriotism, self-confidence, leadership qualities, and a spirit of service among youth, helping them become responsible citizens and future leaders.

Speaking on the occasion, Dr. Ch. Sathvika Reddy, Director and Chief Administrative Officer of the University, praised the NCC for its contribution to nation-building and holistic student development. She emphasized that students who combine academic excellence with discipline, patriotism, and leadership skills are better prepared to succeed in life and contribute meaningfully to society. Certificates were presented to outstanding cadets, and the closing ceremony featured an impressive parade and cultural performances. The event was attended by Prof. G. Shankar Lingam, Vice-Chancellor, Prof. M. Ravinder, Registrar, senior university officials, NCC officers, trainers, faculty members, and cadets.
